The Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) is an economic development organization working with a wide range of industry clusters such as aerospace, advanced manufacturing, automotive, and healthcare in the Rockford Region. The Region has 7.2 times the national average for industrial machinery manufacturing employment and 4.2 time for metals manufacturing and R&D.

RAEDC serves the Rockford Region, which consists of Boone and Winnebago counties in the northern part of Illinois.
